Pad printing head quality directly affects printing results and efficiency. Common defects include bubbles, blurred patterns, cracking and short life. This guide covers causes and solutions.
**Bubbles and Pinholes**
Bubbles are the most common defect, caused by air entrainment during stirring, improper pouring, insufficient degassing and dusty mold. Solutions: stir at moderate speed with rod submerged, pour slowly from one side, vacuum degas 2 to 3 minutes or sit 5 to 10 minutes naturally, clean mold thoroughly.

**Blurred Patterns**
Blurred patterns caused by wrong hardness, dirty surface, improper ink viscosity, aged pad and wrong parameters. Solutions: select right hardness (25A general like HY-912 for flat and curved, 16A like HY-916 for large curved), clean with alcohol, adjust ink viscosity, replace aged pad, optimize pressure and speed.

**Cracking and Short Life**
Cracking caused by excessive component B, high curing temperature, internal bubbles, strong solvent cleaning
