HY-928 is an addition cure high precision grade pad printing silicone from HYC-Silicone's HY-9 series. Made with premium platinum catalyst and high-purity silicone raw materials, it cures with less than 0.1% shrinkage, delivering extremely high dimensional accuracy and perfect reproduction of micro-text and fine patterns.

For industries with extremely high printing precision requirements — such as high-end cosmetic packaging, precision medical devices, and micro-electronic components — ordinary condensation cure silicones often fall short in shrinkage and precision. HY-928 addition cure high precision silicone is specifically engineered for these demanding applications.

Key Features

1. Ultra-High Precision: <0.1% shrinkage, highly accurate and stable pad dimensions, exceptional fine pattern reproduction

2. Platinum Addition Cure: No low-molecular by-products, no contamination to printed product surfaces

3. Excellent Detail Reproduction: Micro-text and fine line patterns are sharp and clear with clean edges

4. Medium Hardness: Shore A 15-20°, highly versatile — works on flat surfaces and mild curves

5. Excellent Rebound Resilience: No deformation after repeated pressing, long pad service life

6. Uniform and Delicate Ink Transfer: Stable ink transfer, full and clear patterns

7. Safe and Eco-Friendly: Meets RoHS, FDA and related standards, safe and reliable

Applications

• High-end cosmetic packaging printing — perfume bottles, lipstick tubes, compact fine patterns

• Medical device printing — syringe scales, surgical instrument markings, micro-text

• Precision electronics printing — micro-component marking, IC chip identification

• Watch and eyewear printing — dial scales, temple logos, fine line patterns

• Stationery and office supplies — fountain pens, high-end stationery fine decoration

• Other applications with extremely high printing precision requirements

How to Use

1. Stir Part A and Part B thoroughly before use

2. Weigh accurately at 1:1 weight ratio, keep error within ±2%

3. Mix gently for 2-3 minutes to avoid introducing too many bubbles

4. Degas under vacuum for 5-8 minutes to ensure complete bubble removal

5. Pour slowly along the mold wall to minimize bubble formation

6. Cure at room temperature for 12-24 hours, or accelerate at 60°C for 2 hours

7. After full cure, let rest 4 hours before demolding for best results

Notes

• Addition cure silicone is sensitive to sulfur, tin, amines and lead — keep tools and environment free of these contaminants

• Use dedicated tools for Part A and Part B — never mix tools to prevent cross-contamination

• For high precision printing, use high-quality molds — mold quality directly affects pad precision

• Use opened material promptly, seal remaining material and store in cool place

• Always do test prints before batch production to confirm results
