Q: What is the mixing ratio?
A: All HY-9 series potting compounds use a 1:1 mix ratio by weight. We recommend accurate weighing and thorough mixing for 3 to 5 minutes, followed by vacuum degassing for 2 to 3 minutes for best results.
Q: How long does it take to cure?
A: At 25C, HY-9020 cures in 4 to 8 hours, HY-9030 in 3 to 6 hours, HY-9040 in 6 to 12 hours, and HY-9050 and HY-9055 in 2 to 4 hours. Cure time can be shortened significantly by applying mild heat.
