Operating Guide

Step 1: Prepare the PCB assembly by cleaning with isopropyl alcohol to remove flux residue, dust, and contaminants. Allow to dry completely before potting.
Step 2: Verify material temperature is 20-25C. If stored in cool conditions, allow to warm to room temperature before use to ensure proper viscosity and mixability.
Step 3: Dispense Part A and Part B in exact 1:1 weight ratio using calibrated equipment. For manual mixing, use a scale with 1g accuracy minimum.
Step 4: Mix thoroughly for at least 3 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of the mixing container to ensure complete blending. The mixture should be uniformly black with no streaks.
Step 5: Dispense the compound into the PCB enclosure, directing flow to fill from one end and allowing the material to advance across the board to push air ahead of it.
Step 6: Vacuum degas at -0.1 MPa for 5-10 minutes immediately after dispensing. This removes trapped air bubbles that could compromise protection.
Step 7: Cure at room temperature for 3-6 hours, or accelerate with heat at 60-80C for 1-2 hours. Do not exceed 120C during cure.
Step 8: Inspect the cured assembly for complete fill, absence of voids, and proper adhesion to all surfaces. Perform electrical functional testing before final assembly.
